I don’t even know how to write how much fun I had at Charlie and Jordyn’s Schwinn Produce Farm Wedding early this summer!    Their families and friends welcomed us and treated us like they’d known us forever, and their laughter and good spirits were absolutely contagious.  Since I’ll also be photographing Jordyn’s sister Janae’s wedding in October, their family is extra special to me, and it made the day that much better.  Since Charlie is an avid hunter, they designed their wedding day to incorporate the sport, with deer antlers sophisticatedly spread out on the family style tables with pastel wildflowers and greenery accompanying them.

As far as barn venues go, Schwinn Farm is one of my favorites.  Everything from the owners and employees to the ambiance and attention to detail is wonderful and I’ve always felt great after weddings here in Leavenworth, Kansas, a short drive away from both Kansas City and Lawrence.  Along with DJ Jason Spencer and a healthy bar, the guests had a fabulous time drinking and dancing until the end of the night!
