I've always been the typical right-brained, left handed artsy type, and found an initial love of photography as a child, where I learned and entered 4-H photography competitions and participated in film photography classes as a teen. After attending college and studying a multitude of subjects, I eventually found my way back to this creative medium and started a home-based business, serving Kansas City and worldwide!

I like to keep things beautifully simple. When you commission us for your wedding day, you’re not only bringing on a few cameras and people to push the shutter, you’re bringing on new friends; friends who strive to tell your story in the most delicate and intimate manner. Throughout your engagement and planning period, we are there, every step of the way. The wedding day is going to go fast and we are invested in documenting it as trusted advisors, friends, and confidants. When you look back on your photos, you’ll feel how you felt on that day; all the emotion, fear, tears, laughter, and devotion. With our experience, we’ll be able to find the best lighting and angles to make you look amazing and comfortable, artfully posing you so you’ll look your best while not being overly “posey.” Our trained eyes are always looking for that moment between moments, when a brief glance between you tells a story all it’s own.
I started my Kansas City and Destination wedding photography business in 2011 with the idea that my images would matter…that they would move and “wow” my viewers. While I’m documenting this history of your engagement and wedding day, I’m carefully using light, emotion, and my surroundings to tell your story in a fashion that, in 100 years, will allow the viewers (your children and grandchildren) to relive the day as if they were there.
