The week leading up to Melissa and Justin’s Eighteen Ninety Wedding in Kansas City was nothing short of stressful, as we watched the weather and had absolutely no clue what Saturday was going to bring us.  The forecast changed at least twice a day from a 20% to 80% chance of rain and back again (as per usual with May in the midwest).  However, their wedding day came and it was absolutely PERFECT.  Huge fluffy clouds hung in the sky, and the only rain to appear was a few sprinkles immediately before Melissa walked down the outdoor aisle, as if it was just waiting for her to arrive.

Eighteen Ninety is a gorgeous newer wedding venue in Kansas City, and I quickly fell in love.  The architecture in the vintage Victorian home is updated, but they didn’t lose the homes beautiful old charm, and the venue space is light and beautiful.  I could see weddings here ranging from rustic to modern, and I can’t wait to shoot there again.  Melissa and Justin chose just the perfect spot for their chic wedding!
