Courtney + Tyler | An 80’s inspired wedding at Abe & Jakes Landing
Courtney & Tyler, lovers of classic rock, working out, their adorable pup, and each other, were married at an awesome 80’s inspired wedding at Abe & Jakes Landing in Lawrence, Kansas this summer!
If you remember their engagement session, I gave a little bit of insight into how they were engaged (hint: Juke Box Hero). It was only appropriate to insert bits of their love of anything 80’s into the day, with a lot of throwback tunes throughout and even a love note written “Back to the Future” style. Tyler had flowers delivered to Courtney’s room in the morning. The attached letter was written as if he wrote it from the future….
Courtney wore this gorgeous family heirloom necklace on the wedding day as her “Something borrowed.” So beautiful!
Their little flower girl with her “Elsa” braid was just the cutest! She was so happy and curious the entire day!
Courtney’s twin brother is an amazing musician and sang during the ceremony and during cocktail hour. It was so incredibly special!
