What are my 2024 goals, you might ask? BLOGGING. I have a serious backload of weddings and sessions I haven’t posted, so here we are, looking all the way back to Haya & Amer’s at home Nikah Ceremony. After photographing the ceremony of Haya’s sister Heba and her now-husband Mahmoud a year prior, I was delighted to be asked to take part in another of their families’ marriage celebrations. Their imam came to Haya’s parents home in the Kansas City area for the Nikah ceremony, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion with a selection of incredible treats for their closest family and friends who witnessed. Afterwards the couple and I (with the help of a kind neighbor’s golf cart) ventured out in the area for a mini photoshoot, and I got to see JUST how adorably in love these two are.
