It was important for Grace & Mitch to have their first look at the home they’d worked so hard to renovate!

While the guys were having their photo debut, the girls were having a blast and being goofy inside.

Grace and her mom really wanted a couple portrait in front of this gorgeous stained glass window. Since the balcony was small and it wouldn’t have been too flattering to have the couple stand right in front of the colorful window, I had to think outside the box!

I had to add this impromptu photo of Grace’s dad hanging out in the lobby of Maceli’s. So great!

Unfortunately, the only snag I know of on the day had to do with the limo that was supposed to pick up the bridal party after the ceremony to take them to Lawrence. They simply did not show up. My second shooter and I headed to Lawrence since it was a bit of a drive to set up and await their arrival, but that didn’t happen for over an hour as transportation was hard to come by for the 25 mile trek. We took the opportunity to stand on the balcony of Maceli’s and take a huge group shot of everyone who came to the wedding as a surprise to the couple!

Finally the group arrived!
