I’m a risk taker, and when Amy brought up sky diving for their engagement photos, I was totally in, until I realized we only had a couple of days to plan it (not to mention trying to figure out how to make that happen with my camera, logistically!). While I would still be up for that (hint, hint!), we decided to utilize what Kansas City has to offer, a little more realistically. Usually during wedding season (pretty much April through October), at any given famous location around Kansas City, you’ll see swarms of photo sessions happening. Somehow though, on a random Wednesday in May, Amy, John and I almost had the Nelson all to ourselves on a beautiful, mild evening. I had to soak that up while I had a chance – it’s RARE. Understandable though, as the grounds as the Nelson are just stunningly beautiful most of the time. We can’t wait for their wedding this fall at Studio Dan Meiners!
