I feel as though some of the most meaningful weddings I’ve ever photographed have been those at home.  In Samantha and Ross’ case, their reception was held on her parents’ beautiful property in Lebo, KS, a small town about an hour away from Lawrence.  When I arrived mid morning to photograph details, the tent was buzzing with family and friends helping to set up the immaculate and gorgeous details.  It was a team effort and it definitely paid off; theirs were some of the most beautiful reception details I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.  Not a stone went unturned!  Their ceremony was held at Lebo United Methodist Church and we ventured out to a lake outside of town for their wedding party portraits.  While it may seem like a cliche thing to say by now, it literally was the perfect day for it.  The temperature was perfect and there was just enough cloud cover to make photographing their amazing wedding party a breeze.   Below are some of my favorites from their day; enjoy!
