Hiliary + James | Carnival themed wedding at Grace Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Yes, you read the title right…a carnival themed wedding!  Hiliary and James’ early fall wedding was a blast, complete with carnival games, popcorn, cotton candy, and a raffle for fun little prizes.  The guests were invited to blast soda cans with darts, play the ring toss, pin the tie on the groom, and put their heads through a custom painted cutout board for photos, among other games!

We also were fortunate enough to catch the very last weekend of the gorgeous Sunflower fields outside of Lawrence for photos.  Special thanks to Grinter Farms for allowing the public to come out to the fields, wander around, and take pictures!

Bride and groom pray together before wedding

James and Hiliary wanted to pray together before walking down the aisle, but not see each other. The boys tied a makeshift blindfold around James’ head and we gave the two a quiet moment in the chapel together.

Bride and groom drive off in old car

A friend of James’ has a really cool old car they were picked up in after the ceremony. I adore their loving expressions in this!
