Another beautiful Kansas spring day + two incredibly in love, gorgeous people = a wedding I (and probably anyone who was present) won’t soon forget.

Scott & Abby were literally married ON Firekeeper Golf Course in Mayetta, Kansas. I knew courses made for gorgeous wedding images, but never in a million years could I have anticipated how amazing an actual wedding on a fairway could be. The backdrop and setting sun was spectacular and incredibly peaceful; perfect for a couple who’ve grown up and still work on a course. I’ve known Abby since she was just little and our families have been longtime friends, so it was even more special being a part of her day. Here are just a few of my favorite images, although it was truly hard to narrow it down!

I love the bottom right image! It is hard to wrangle up little ones who just want to run and play on a lovely spring day. While it isn’t a perfect portrait of everyone smiling at the camera, it’s a perfect picture because that’s how the day was. Filled with laughter, tears, squirmy little ones… still perfect in it’s own right. :)
