I was very lucky to again shoot with my colleague and friend, Lauren Frisch, for this gorgeous top-of-the-world wedding at the downtown Crowne Plaza in Kansas City. For the bridal party portraits, we visited the Nelson-Adkins Museum where the trees and flowers were in full spring bloom, and actually matched her flowers perfectly! (winning :)
The main “theme” of the wedding was based on a Japenese tradition of folding 1000 origami cranes. I didn’t know about this until I read about it but WOW, what a commitment it was to fold all of them, and THEN string them together. The finished product was absolutely stunning, as you’ll see when you view my favorite images from the day!
