The minute he saw her walk out onto the patio on her father’s arm, he got squirmy. He cried and held out his hands, and couldn’t wait to get to her. Rhett’s father, and the man who would soon marry her, held the little boy in his arms as Castlen and her father stepped out of the foyer and down the steps to the aisle. Not yet…she’ll be here soon. Her father held back the tears he had shed moments ago, as she let them go, and they walked down the aisle to her forever. As they stepped to the front, Rhett reached out to her. While they’ve been a family for a couple of years now, it was about to become official, and even though he was too young to understand, he just knew he wanted his mommy. The guests all gasped at how beautiful she looked, and the emotions ran high. The short ceremony was not void of emotion and laughter, and a few tears from young Rhett, and his sitter whisked him away from the crowd. (Weddinging is hard!) Moments later, after rings were exchanged and vows spoken, Castlen and Cory Hunt were wed, as he planted the enthusiastic first kiss on his new wife. “Nailed it.”
