I don’t always get to photograph early morning sessions, but when I get the occasional early riser, their session is JUST as magical as those in the evening!  There’s something great about getting up with the sun and embracing the day that energizes the soul.  Abbey, a drum major at Olathe East,  is used to being up early in the morning for jogs and band practice, so it was no big deal!  Everything from her stunning smile to quiet smize was spot on, and as you’ll soon see, she absolutely rocked her session.  It was a beautiful morning, and we even took the opportunity with amazing stylist Ashley Nelson to apply her makeup outdoors in the gorgeous sunlight.   A few favorites from her session are below, and scroll down to the bottom to learn some fun facts about Abbey!

Abbey got to play with her school band in the Kaufmann Center recently so it was very important for her to take a few portraits in front of the spectacular building.

Abbey’s sister Monica was home from college so we took the opportunity to do a few fun sister shots!
